Wraptor Truss Structures
Unbeatable structural efficiency:
helping to build a better world
What are Wraptor Trusses?
Wrapped Tow Reinforced (Wraptor) truss structures are a new way of building high performance structures that combine the best of everything - the highest performance composite materials manufactured into the most efficient truss geometries using an automated and scalable precision winding process.
Composite Materials
Composites are high performance fibres glued together with resin matrices, creating super lightweight, strong, and corrosion resistant materials. Wraptor Trusses can be made from carbon, glass, and even natural fibre composites.
Truss Geometry
Trusses are the most efficient structural configuration humanity has ever developed. By placing small amounts of material far away from each other, trusses use geometry to do the heavy lifting, providing strength and stiffness with minimal mass and material usage.
Automated Manufacturing
Wraptor Trusses use a novel, automated manufacturing process that drastically simplifies, speeds up, and reduces the cost of making composite trusses. Resin wetted fibres are wound around composite tubes to automatically create continuous truss beams.

How can Wraptor help build a better world?
Wraptor’s unique combination of materials, geometry, and manufacturing leads to incredible performance at an unbeatable price, providing 30-50% mass reductions in a wide range of applications:
Aircraft Structures - wing spars, stringers, bulkheads, longerons
Automotive - chassis, panel reinforcement, suspension components
Building construction - columns, joists, lintels, portal frames
Infrastructure - towers, bridges, signs, pylons, telecommunications
Less mass and better performance means reduced fuel burn in transportation, lower material costs, and it even allows sustainable natural materials to be performance competitive with traditional structures.
